Social Responsibility
Unified Group recognises the obligations we have towards our staff, customers, suppliers, competitors and the community as a whole.

These include:

Environment We believe our reputation, together with the trust and confidence of those with whom we deal, to be one of our most valuable assets. In order to keep this reputation and trust, we demand and maintain the highest ethical standards in carrying out our business activities.

1 Comply with current legislation and, where practical, seek to meet future legislative requirements ahead of relevant deadlines.

2 Integrate environmental considerations and objectives into relevant business decisions in a cost efficient manner.

3 Ensure all employees address their environmental responsibilities within the framework of their normal operating procedures.

4 Influence suppliers of services and goods to reduce their impact on the environment.

5 Enhance awareness of relevant issues amongst staff and others who have an interest in the IT industry.

6 Minimise waste and seek to recover as much as is economically practical, ensuring the remainder is disposed of responsibly.

7 Develop the appropriate systems and install the equipment necessary to improve the overall efficiency of energy/utilities over the next five years.

8 Develop appropriate emergency response plans for major incidents in order to minimise their environmental impact.

Environmental Policy
By helping other organisations to reduce their carbon footprint, we believe that we are making a positive contribution to the environment. However, we are always looking to reduce our own impact on the environment. At Unified Group we believe in protecting our environment by ensuring that we are as "green" as is feasibly possible. We will continually monitor our Environmental Policy by looking at where we are able to "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" in all our business dealings.

As we become aware of new technologies that may help to reduce our clients' environmental impact, we will obviously make them fully aware of these developments and will also publicise details using our monthly e-Newsletter, so that all our clients may benefit.
